Mahboba's Promise
22 September 2009 - Bayer CropScience employees have been busy cleaning out their wardrobes in an effort to collect clothing and footwear to donate to Mahbobas Promise, an Australian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to helping the women, widows, children and orphans of Afghanistan who have been disenfranchised by decades of war and civil unrest.

Bayer CropScience Endosulfan Statement
Melbourne, Friday 17 July, 2009 Bayer CropScience Australia Pty. Ltd. is planning to phase out the insecticidal active ingredient Endosulfan by the end of 2010 at the latest. This is part of a commercial decision made several years ago to replace World Health Organisation (WHO) Class I products with alternatives already commercially available or under development.

Winners announced for seed treaters' trip to Germany
The winners of the one-week trip to the Bayer Seed Treatment Application Centre (STAC) in Monheim, Germany, have been drawn. Congratulations to Chris Martin, Australian Seed & Grain Pty Ltd, Moora and John Waide, Waide Contracting, Griffith, who will travel with Jeff Lander, Bayer CropScience Territory Sales Manager (Western Australia) to STAC in mid-September this year.
